Wedding pictures in the sunken garden

Our wedding this weekend included the bride and groom posing for pictures in our sunken garden.

Here is a picture taken the day after-bride will have to decide if we get a copy of the one with them in it! The idea that the photographer was willing to use the garden in a picture represents one of our milestones at the Gufler Mansion. A year ago June, this garden was a still a swimming pool. Last fall, it was a point of conversation "what happened to your pool" and "I can get you a couple of dump truck loads of dirt and fill that in for you" comments so the image of a garden was slow in coming. Its certainly not finished as it is growing its way into a more mature space but for now, we are experiencing a milestone and I thought it was worth sharing.
