Robin and Carlos were performing in Tulsa and made a small detour to visit Ross at the Cross House in Emporia as they traveled to Colorado for Thanksgiving. Robin played for the San Francisco Symphony as a pianist for 45 years and Carlos currently plays the clarinet for the symphony. Ross has a super blog: RestorningRoss.com that should be enjoyable reading for anyone who has ever wanted to restore a house and had captured Robin's attention and thus the overnight visit to Emporia for a tour.. Ross's blog is so well written he has hundreds (thousands?) of followers who communicate with him daily. As a side benefit of being Ross's friend, we enjoy hosting visitors to our community. The Cross House is nearing 140 years old and has been Ross's restoration passion for the last 7 years.
